Discover Local Volunteering Opportunities
As part of our Volunteer Connections project, we’re running a regular online series called ‘Volunteer Lunch and Learn’. This is a chance to hear from different organisations about what they do and how you can get involved. Each session is informal and open to everyone. You’ll learn about volunteer opportunities and have the opportunity to ask questions – with no pressure to sign up or speak during the session.
In just 30 minutes, from 12:30 - 1:00pm, you'll hear from five charities and community groups about their work and the volunteer opportunities they have available. Whether you're exploring volunteering for the first time or looking for something new, we’d love you to join us. Is your organisation interested in taking part? Dad Matters, a service delivered by Home-Start Surrey, supports fathers and father figures who are experiencing challenges in their relationships with their children. FATN Talking News provides free audio recordings of local news and information for people with sight loss. Volunteers help to read, record, edit and distribute weekly editions, ensuring listeners stay informed and connected to their local community.
