Volunteer Drivers Needed Urgently to Support Rising Food Poverty Across Sussex & Surrey

FareShare Sussex & Surrey urgently needs volunteer drivers and drivers’ assistants at its Guildford hub to help deliver good food to people who need it most.
Each week, the charity rescues 55 tonnes of surplus food—over 120,000 meals—and redistributes it to charities, schools, food banks and community groups. With rising living costs pushing more families into hardship, demand for support is higher than ever.
“Our volunteers keep the wheels turning,” says CEO Dan Slatter. “Without them, thousands would miss out on good food each week.”
