Did you know that even small conversations about alcohol can make a big difference to someone’s health?
VASWS is excited to launch a 12-month pilot project, in partnership with Surrey County Council, aimed at empowering local people to raise awareness around alcohol and wellbeing.
We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and motivated in raising awareness about the negative and harmful effects of alcohol consumption within their charity, organisation or community group; including advising friends, colleagues and clients.
Why Get Involved?
By becoming a Volunteer Alcohol Health Champion, you’ll gain:
Free training to build your knowledge and confidence.
A practical toolkit to use in your workplace, charity, or community group.
The opportunity to make a real difference in improving local health and wellbeing.
For the full role description, to express an interest or for further information about training and ongoing support, please email Hilary, Alcohol Health Coordinator, at: h.holness@vasws.org.uk
