Scams can have a devastating impact on individuals, particularly those who may be vulnerable or isolated. Through the Friends Against Scams initiative, you can play a valuable role in helping raise awareness, share information, and support efforts to protect people in your community.
Buckinghamshire & Surrey Trading Standards offers opportunities to become a Friends Against Scams Champion, helping others recognise scams and understand how to protect themselves.

West Horsley Place – Volunteering at a Historic Estate
Step into history and become part of a special community.
West Horsley Place is a beautiful historic house and estate offering a wonderful setting for volunteering. Whether you're interested in heritage, welcoming visitors, events, or supporting the work of a historic property, there are opportunities to get involved and contribute to its ongoing story.
You might also recognise West Horsley Place as Button House from the BBC comedy Ghosts! The popular series was filmed at the estate, and visitors can even enjoy special Ghosts-themed tours.
Volunteering at West Horsley Place offers the chance to spend time in a unique historic environment, meet new people, and help visitors enjoy everything the estate has to offer.
