Community Falls Responder Service

The Community Falls Responder Service is free to people in the Guildford and Waverley area who are registered with the listed GPs. Our aim is to avoid people needing to call an ambulance if they just need help to get up!

We operate between 6am and 9pm. If someone has a fall at home, isn’t injured, but they just can’t get up, they can phone us and we’ll send a Responder to help.

We aim to be with people within an hour.

We complete a person-centred risk assessment and, if safe to do so, we use a Raizer to lift people.

The person we lift need to be able to weight bear and we need to be able to access their home somehow …. having a key safe fitted ‘just in case’ is a great idea
