Free Summer Holiday Activities and Food Programme Returns Across Surrey

Club4 Summer 2026 Offers Fully Funded Activities for Eligible Children and Young People

Families across Surrey can once again access a fantastic programme of free holiday activities and nutritious meals this summer through the Club4 Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme. Delivered by Active Surrey on behalf of Surrey County Council, Club4 provides children and young people with opportunities to stay active, make friends, build confidence and enjoy new experiences throughout the school holidays.

Eligible children and young people from Reception through to Year 11, including current Year 11 school leavers, who receive benefits-related Free School Meals can access up to 16 days of fully funded activities over the summer.

The programme offers a wide range of activities, including:

• Sports and team games

• Creative arts and crafts

• Cooking activities

• Outdoor adventures

• Wellbeing activities

• Social and confidence-building opportunities

Designed to be fun, engaging and inclusive, Club4 helps children try new things, develop skills, stay active and enjoy a memorable summer holiday.

Something for Every Family

This year's programme includes a variety of offers to ensure as many families as possible can benefit:

Inclusive SEND Sessions

Dedicated camps and family stay-and-play opportunities designed to provide supportive, welcoming and enjoyable experiences for children and young people with additional needs and their families.

Teen Activities

Older children and young people can enjoy exciting days out, adventure activities and, for the first time, Summer Holiday Junior Gym Memberships at selected leisure centres.

Family Events

A range of activities designed to bring families together and create positive experiences during the school holidays.

Important Booking Information

Bookings open at 7:30am on Tuesday 30 June, and families are encouraged to register their interest in advance to receive a booking reminder before places become available.

To ensure as many children as possible can benefit from the programme, families are asked to only book sessions they can attend and to cancel bookings as early as possible if plans change. Every unused place means another child misses out on a funded activity and healthy meal.

Free School Meals Eligibility

Families should note that while changes to Free School Meals eligibility are expected from September 2026, children who are currently receiving benefits-related Free School Meals will remain eligible to access Club4 throughout the summer holidays. Schools will contact families directly regarding any future eligibility checks.
